The Original Marquis Bar is presented in honor of my former business partner, whom I started this chocolate journey with in 2001 in New York. It was one of our creations that Martha Stewart got her hands on and loved and launched our business, Sans Souci Confections. The Marquis Bar is my interpretation of the fudgy, dark chocolate, almost flourless, espresso spiked bar that honestly taught me what perfect ingredients and a honed technique can create.
